in my former life I was a rocket scientist. currently, I’m a producer and writer of stories that blur the lines until they cease to exist.

I should’ve been a statistic of Chicago’s South Side. Twice. Instead, two degrees and a corporate career later, I’d done a pretty good job of convincing myself that I could fill my creative hole as an engineer. And then I woke up with a story. That night I wrote it. Then another. I had so many stories I enrolled in American University and received my MA in Film and Video Production to learn to produce them. I’d always felt like I was here for a reason. Now I understand what that reason is. I intend to change the narrative and share not only these stories but the stories of others that show true diversity through authentic eyes.
